Conclusion

It can be concluded that we don't know what the exact future plans are of Jack in the Box, because the manager didn't want to co-operate with us.
But we did have found some information about Jack's way in the future on the official website of Jack in the Box:
"It's Jack in the Box employees who are the driving force behind the brand. At Jack in the Box, we believe that if you take care of your employees, they'll take great care of your customers. It's a philosophy we call “Jack's Way” and it's at the core of everything we do as an organization."

This doen'st tell much about their future plans. But it tells something about the organization.
And we think that Jack in the Box will also use this philosophy in the future.

Group experience

The thing we wanted to know about “Jack in the Box” is what their future plans are.
To know the future plans of “Jack in the Box” we interviewed a couple of customers and we tried to interview the one of the managers. Only the manager didn’t want to cooperate.

We went to “Jack in the Box” on Mill Avenue and “Jack in the Box” on Broadway Road. On Mill Avenue the manager said he did not have time for us and he had to get permission from his boss. He also said we couldn’t interview the customers now (Wednesday). So we made an appointment with the manager for the next day. Only the manager didn’t show up the next day. So we had a meeting later that day with all our group members to brainstorm what to do now (Thursday).
We decided to go to “Jack in the Box” on Broadway Road. There we asked an employee for the manager. He said the manager wasn’t there. So he told us to come back tomorrow (Thursday).

The next day when we went back to “Jack in the Box” on Mill Avenue we asked a cashier for the manager. She called a name and two men where coming towards us. One of them was the manager we spoke two days earlier and the other was unfamiliar to us. The unfamiliar person talked to us and the manager sneaked out of the building. We asked the other person if it was possible to talk to him. That was possible. We asked if we could sit down to ask some questions. He wasn’t very happy anymore. He said we could give him the questions on paper and that we have to come back later that day to pick them up, because he didn’t had any time. We asked him if we could interview some of the customers and luckily he said YES. So we only interviewed the customers.
After 5 O’clock we could pick up the answered questions of the manager and we went at 5.30 to pick up the papers. Of course there was a “new manager” in the building (Friday). We said we talked earlier that day with the manager and that he had filled in a paper with questions. He did make a phone call because he couldn’t find the papers. He was obviously in a bad mood, because he immediately said he had no papers. So we were standing there with only a few interviews from the customers.

We also send a mail to Jack in the Box, but we didn’t get any answer of them.

After all we only have got the customer’s-interviews and our own experience with the terrible company “Jack in the Box”.
